Psychotherapy for adults in Linz, in English and German. I practice cognitive-behavioral therapy, informed by a long engagement with depth psychology (Jung, Freud, Lacan). My goal is to support you in rediscovering and redefining who you are — and in shaping out a better way to lead your life.
Three complementary approaches — each effective on its own, stronger together. Which one takes the lead, depends on who you are.

Working with early-formed patterns that no longer fit. In the therapeutic relationship, what once came up short is given room to grow — enabling you to live more fully in the here and now than ever before.

What fascinates me are inner worlds — the worlds we inhabit and within which we each find our own particular path.
Dr. Thomas de la Fuente. Behavioral therapist with a PhD in philosophy and a long engagement with Jungian analytical psychology. Two approaches that complement each other because they ask different questions: what can concretely change — and what is at work underneath.
Born in Switzerland, raised between Basel and Upper Austria, several years in the United States. Out of that biography grows an attentiveness to how differently people experience themselves — and how much room it sometimes takes to arrive at oneself again.
Duration is highly individual and depends on what you bring and what you want to work toward. Some themes can be addressed in a few months; others benefit from longer accompaniment. We discuss this together and adjust the course of therapy to your needs as we go.
No. Psychotherapy is voluntary, and you can decide to end at any point. I do recommend discussing that in a session together, to find a good closing — but there is no binding commitment.
Yes. I work as a private practitioner (Wahltherapeut), which means you pay directly and can then apply to your insurer for partial reimbursement. Typical contributions: ÖGK around € 33.70 per session, SVS around € 40, BVAEB around € 50. Please check with your insurer for current rates. Non-Austrian insurance: reimbursement depends on your policy; I'm happy to provide receipts in any format you need.
